Dawn and Shawn flew into San Angelo, Texas on November 23rd, 2006 to spend Thanksgiving weekend in Westbrook. Thanksgiving dinner was moved to the 24th so that we could all enjoy mom's huge feast. The food was great and the company even better. Dawn and Shawn caught us all up on their activities over the past year or so.




On Saturday we were surprised by John, Chris and Michelle Dykstra who came up from Marble Falls, Texas and brought Dezari and Ashley Drews. This turned into a huge sleepover party. We all laughed until it hurt and wished it would never end.






Dad got his car out and the weather was warm enough for the top down and many rides. By the time the rides were done it was dark and much colder. Dad did manage to hurt his shoulder a little, but he sure enjoyed cruising around in his car and he smiled for days. Everyone who wanted a ride received one and we all had a blast.



We all had a great time and we were sad when it came time for some to leave.



We will always remember this special Thanksgiving. Because of dad's condition we were not able to go to the family Thanksgiving at Albeso and Dalayna's house in Alice, Texas. However, the family's efforts made this a very special Thanksgiving for all of us. Thanks for coming!
