Lisa was invited to give the opening prayer for the 2006 Graduates.



Here it is:

Heavenly Father,

As we gather together to celebrate the graduates of Westbrook please bless the assembly here today. We ask you to bless all the people who have traveled here this evening. We thank you for the safe journey and we pray for a safe return home for everyone here. Be with these graduates and let us remember these words that are spoken in your name from Psalm 31: verse 2 thru 4 [In you Lord I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your justice deliver me; incline your ear to me; make haste to rescue me! Be my rock of refuge, a strong hold to save me. You are my rock and my fortress; for your name's sake lead and guide me.] Please guide these graduates in the time to come.
